The Primary Goal In Tennis

The Primary Goal in Tennis.

To defeat your enemy one must know him/her is an excellent old saying and let’s develop that thought further; we must be acutely aware of them in person and in mind as much as we can the whole time. Can we feel their direction of movement as we begin to set up a shot? Are we able to detect their immediate intention as they set up their shot? Are we equal to them in presence and and can we remain unwobbled by them psychologically throughout regardless of the┬áscore? Are we putting immense pressure on them by our actions and not on ourselves? Can we lose a point and be encouraged by it and then find our centres before the next one? If we can then we have a good chance of prevailing overall in the marathon of sprints that is a tennis match? If we can successfully touch the ball 3 times in every rally we will be TOUGH to beat. Good luck and keep on making those mistakes.
